there there is a whole artical about databases. however it is quit old.
it is very simple to use MySQL, but you need to set some things up first.
1. the database moduke
2. the development module
3. the client module.
(all avilble in RedHat RPM from mysql.netvision.net.il)
3. perl
4. DBI modules for perl.
5. Msql-Mysql-module.
After you installed all those things you can write CGI's that will connect
to the database.
