Shalom!
I've read today in a newspaper (reprint from Yedioth), that some israeili
warez site was closed by it's provider (alcime networks?). Nothing
interesting so far, but then the writer (Dudi Goldman) says that the
company intends to submit a compaint to israeli police. This rises some
questions: what law governs the program copyrights and the thing about
unathorized copying? What about software, that can be used for making
them? About access codes (like serial numbers), is it legal to publish
them? What about other security tools (most of them can be used for
intrusion as well as for protection, like sniffers or portscanners)? Is
there some place where it is published online?
Also, it there online Yedioth site?
I'm not going to make warez site, but I'm curious, since I do not want to
get in trouble for having John The Ripper stored on my FTP...
