This was the message I planned to send. It seems that when the
number of saved messages in the various folders of Netscape
exceeds the 10,000, its mailer begins to eat meassages. Sorry!

According to today's headlines, the Israeli start-up "Commtouch"
may lose hundreds of millions of Dollars, and even its future may
be in danger, just because its product does not have a Linux port.

Commtouch, an Ein-Vered based company, led by Maxwell's daughter,
deals with web-based e-mail, and was about to raise a lot of money
in NASDAQ, with a market value of $billion (!) according to
analyst's estimates.

About two months ago, AOL decided to enter the field, and wanted to
adopt the solution of Commtouch, a step which could raise its value
even higher. Unfortunately, AOL was surprised to hear that the
Israelis didn't understand what is so important in Linux, and that
Commtouch even didn't have any Linux port for its flagship product.
According to AOL's opinion, the potential of this product is not in
the consumer market where Windows rules, but in the commercial
market, where Linux rules according to AOL.

The story of today's headlines, is that AOL had no choice, but to
adopt a rival solution from Critical Path, JUST because it has a
Linux port. The plan of AOL is to integrate it into its ICQ
service, another Israeli invention, which contrary to Commtouch'
Pronto-Mail, was bought and adopted successfully by AOL.

Now, according to analysts, Commtouch is about to be evaluated by at
least hundreds of millions of Dollars (!) LESS than the original
estimates, and some even claim that the whole IPO is in danger, just
because this young company underestimated Linux.

Conclusion: Next time your boss asks you: "Why the hell do we need
this Linux port? What is it good for? Who will pay for it?", just
tell him that he may lose $billion because of lack of Linux support.
