Hi,
After 25 recompiles i've managed to get /dev/fb0 to work and i got the
console in video.
my card is matrox millennium G200 and i need help getting the console
running properly in 800x600.
another problem, unrealevant to the subject of this message, since i
compiled the kernel ALOT trying to get FB to work, i've seen that EGCS
compiles kernels like SHIT (sorry for the bad language...). with most of the
stuff turned to be modules i still get a bunch of 470kb claiming to be my
new 2.2.10 kernel. and wich with GCC would probably take only 380k.
i am using REDHAT 6.0.. any suggestions what i can do?
