After Netscape taught its Hebrew users a VERY similar workaround to print visual Hebrew on printers (disabling the "Shiuch-Fontim" immediately after any boot, and refusing to re-boot the system to apply the change), now comes another trick to help the Hebrew users. I completely agree to both of the things you wrote: It's great that they have this hack for us, and it is still important to have a real fix.
