|I have problem connecting to the internet using ppp
|my pppd ver is 2.3 patch level 4
|ISP is Internet Zahav ( which do NOT know how to config it ( technical support on
|phone!!!! ))

^^^^^^^^^^^^ shouldn't it be /dev/modem ??? also check that /dev/modem is
exist by ls -la /dev/modem.

|I have RedHat 6.0
|kernel 2.3.5

|BTW, when i try to connect with Kppp it says that the modem doesn't respond...
