Well, I had a similar problem the other day, and I worked around it.
What I did was install RH5.2 and then upgraded to RH6.0
I know that this isn't much of a solution, but hey, it worked like a
charm. The funny thing was that on an AMD PCI SCSI controller, which is
basicly a 2940 compatible card, there was no problem installing RH6.0
This is all I can say, if someone has a solution without the workaround
of RH5.2, then I'd like to know about it.
