the problem is probably that the file are :
1. Truncated
2. Damaged
Check if you got them directly from the vendor, or from another source.
If u got them for trustable source, try comparing the files size to the size
of them on the vendor's site/computer.

i got 2 files.

both got an extension tar.gz
when i try to uncompress the files i get: this is not a gzip file.
i use the correct options but nothing.
i use rh 6 and the interface gnome.
plz tell me what i do wrong.
