I don't remember the exact packages for cladera 1.3, but if it contains
the new 3.3.3 XFree86, then your better off using XF86Setup, as it's
a graphical setup which more easily allows you to setup exactly what you
want, and then test it to see if it's ok, and only then overwrites your
old config file.
the only draw back, is that you got to have the vga16 server, and your
card/screen setup has to work half decently in 640x480x16 mode w/o special
settings (should be ok for most card).
