Hetz, I guess that this is what you meant (the official announcment is attached). -- Eli Marmor
We are pleased to announce the availability of a update for the VMware for Linux beta. VMware Build-134 is available for download now at http://www.vmware.com/download/download.html. This update includes a significant number of improvements and bug fixes. A list of major changes are at http://www.vmware.com/support/newinrelease.html. It is easy to upgrade VMware to the new release, simply install the new build on top of the previous one. The same guest operating system installations and VMware configuration files you have now will work with the update. It is not necessary to upgrade the VMware modified XFree86 host X server. We do recommend you update the VMware Tools for you guest operating system. VMware Tools for Windows 95/98 and Windows NT and VMware Tools for Linux include significant improvements. Updated VMware Tools are available at http://www.vmware.com/download/download.html. You can use the same VMware license as previously, if this license has or is about to expire you can simply request another license at http://www.vmware.com/forms/Download.cfm. If you encounter problems with VMware the following resources are available -- o Known issues are documented at http://www.vmware.com/support/releasenotes.html o Troubleshooting guidelines and most commonly reported problems are at http://www.vmware.com/support/troubleshooting.html o VMware hosted newsgroups, where users can discuss technical problems, are at news.vmware.com or see http://www.vmware.com/support/newsgroups.html for more information o Finally you can file a VMware support incident at http://www.vmware.com/forms/Incident_Login.cfm. Please check that you attach your VMware log file and a vmware-core file (if one was created) to the incident form. Finally thanks to everybody who has taken time to use VMware and to provide suggestions and report problems. We hope you enjoy this beta update. Kind Regards The VMware Team
