i don't think, it's just a linux problem. here the scool buy some HP695Cxi,
and they have just win 3.1/win95/NT drivers. we want to install it for Irix
6.5. HP said: no support, no drivers. good luck.

the point is, if you have a support like this for printers, you have a less
chance to use the printers in OSes other than windows. shame.
