it lists known printers, and the current support available for Unix systems,
linux included
I would suggest don't mess with anything which isn't green on the table.
also I would like to caution against using any HP printer due to really bad
hardware interface (my printer has two buttons - off and park/load/resume -
this button lights up when I press it - that's the only thing it does),
and to recomend on Epson's stylus color range which works well with linux.
they have a few reliability problems, so I would recomend the 640, or 850
which were proven to be work horses.
