I think it's a good idea (don't call it blacklist though), although it
should be updated regularly as device that are not supported now will be
supported tommorow, or at the most - the day after tommorow :-P .
I have an addition to this list which as also a good example to what I
just said - the HP 720c deskjet printer. it uses a propriety (did I
spelled that cortectly ?) data format, but it's beeing hacked into and
you can now get a program that after some effort will allow you to print
B&W 150dpi pages.
