I just set up a test environment with stonith ssh and it seems to work OK. I'm using a dell 1850 and a dell 2850 which don't have DRAC cards. Can I still use IPMI? If I understand correctly, IPMI just uses eth0? If that's the case, what's the difference between using IPMI and SSH?
I guess setting up IPMI consists of installing openipmi (using centos 5 btw) and adding it to my ha.cf (heartbeat v1)? I know that ssh is not recommended for production, but what about ipmi over eth0?
