Hi, we have a cluster using heartbeat1. How is it possible to REstart a service (in our case: syslog-ng) or execute a script on both nodes at failover? We don´t use mon.
The only thing I found is to use an init script, but because heartbeat looks if the service is started or stopped, I see no way to restart a service in this way. (There are also scripts in /etc/ha.d/resources.d called "AudibleAlarm" or "MailTo", but they seem to be part of some kind of wrapper and I don´t really understand how this is working.)
