Now I feel really stupid. With the Baytech switches, you can assign host
names to each of the ports.  That means all the driver actually needs is an
IP address, user name and password, and it gets the host list from the
device itself.  That was the piece that I was not understanding.  Sorry for
being so dense.  .   .
