Hi,
unfortunatelly there is no clean way to install a pacemaker based
heartbeat using deb repositories.
Therefor you end up in using 2.1.4 (if you want to stick with deb)
I just tried using the suse de repo on my etch box which is causing the
same error as you get.
I'll try to build the packages on my own and post you the result.

Well, I do not use both together. I try to install 1) pacemaker OR 2)
heartbeat 2.1.4.
