Have a look at http://web.archive.org/web/20070630065713/http://chilli.linuxmds.com/~mschilli/NFS/active-active-nfs.html ... there are a few quite handy scripts for an active/active NFS cluster. Although this manual is not uptodate it is a good starting point.
