We kind of do this, we call it Semi Automatic Installer (SAI). But the problem is that you still need to have some credentials in the NFSROOT to talk to the server. It is primarily used for fetching and storing answers to questions on the server. This allows us to have interactive builds that can save the answers to the server so the next build can be automatic.
