In scripts/GRUB_EFI/10-setup the final "else" clause does not include
the "--force-extra-removable" option for the "grub-install" command; the
other clauses do have this option. Is this a bug or is there a reason I
don't understand?
If the missing option is intentional, other than customizing this fai
script, any suggestions on a good solution for fixing this in my config?
I know that the grub-install version for Ubuntu does not support the
"--force-extra-removable" option. Maybe that last else case is intended
to cover Ubuntu?
Possible I suppose but it seems to be a catch all for non-raid and
non-loop devices.
If the option is not supported by all distros, any suggestion on where I
might add it in the config to have it picked up for my machines that
need it?
Only 1 model out of the 4 or so I have need this option.
Cheers,
Merlin.
