I am not so familiar with Debian versioning... So on first sight they looked like the same to me. Nevertheless, I downloaded the version from Kernel.org and replaced the EFI boot files in /srv/tftp/fai/ on my FAI server. To my big surprise, the PXE boot in UEFI mode works with those replaced images! Good hint, Thomas! Now, this is a big step forward. (UEFI installation provides more issues - there is more to come...)
