FAI 5.3 is now available. Here are some news: A new keyword was added to install_packages. You can now use PACKAGES install-norec for a list of packages that will be installed using apt-get with the option --no-install-recommends.
You can now use both -N and -c for fai and fai-diskimage, which was forbidden before. Currently fai-diskimage can't be used on hosts which have logical volumes. The class GCE, the configuration for Google Compute Engine was imporoved and a virtual host using this configuration was booted the first time during the Debian Cloud sprint in Seattle. You will get the new version by adding this line to your sources.list file: deb http://fai-project.org/download jessie koeln -- regards Thomas
