The black screen bug is dead and I now see the red-color FAI text logo
for the first time, along with the full diagnostic output on the
fai-client display. In addition, now when fai-client build aborts it
drops to the ...# prompt and waits for me like it is supposed to. And
ssh works fine. All good news.
Truthfully -- I have modified a few things but I can not get back to
conditions where the black screen existed. So I have no reproducible
problem and simple modification.
I did have one disappointing event. To add a package to nfsroot, I ran
"fai-make-nfsroot -k" but got no log entry in /var/log/fai. It needs to
happen a few more times before calling it a problem.
System build on the fai-client still does not finish successfully for
demohost, but I can now see what is going on.
