Michael, Thats the confusing part, since I dont have a basefiles dir anywhere.. If I understand everything correctly, I can simply create this, and place (eg.) LENNY.tgz in there. Then the Class LENNY will pick up this file? What happens to Etch in this case, must I place it in there too, or will any class missing the Class.tgz automagicly revert to the base.tgz ? Michael Goetze wrote: Hi Leen,At the moment I have a working set-up for Etch, and all is well. How ever, I'd like to be able to install Lenny on new clients too. I've read the Docs, and as far as I can tell I should be able to define a class with a different base.tar.gz. But, I'm slightly lost: Where do I define in the class that it should use a different base.tar.gz?? I can't seem to figure this out, and I think this should be relative easy.you don't need to define this "in the class", just put an appropriate file under basefiles/CLASSNAME.tar.gz and FAI will detect it automatically.Regards, Michael --
