Hi,
I also got the "saa7146_i2c_writeout: timed out waiting for end of
xfer", but on a FF card (TT 1.5), and mixed with
av7110_wait_msgstate: timeout waiting for MSGSTATE 0040
and after a while
__av7110_send_fw_cmd: timeout waiting on busy MSG QUEUE
dvb-ttpci: av7110_send_fw_cmd(): av7110_send_fw_cmd error -110
dvb-ttpci: av7110_fw_cmd error -110
Sometimes it works for hours, and only then it starts doing that. Now I
changed the line suggested by Oliver Endriss for the budget-av:

It has been working now for 7 hours (with recording and watching, and a
lot of other activity).
My graphics card is on the same interrupt as the ttpci, could that be a
cause of that IRQ problem?
