To offer another hint about capabilities of the CAM's : Aston is known to have two types of CAM's, one is standard consumer CAM and another one is so called professional CAM - this one is able decrypt full transport stream. It is intended just for content providers and can be obtained directly from Aston.
I do not know if Nagravision has similar arrangement in place. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Carlo E. To offer you one more data point, I have been happily using a Nova CI for a project, with an Aston CAM and a subscription to the Dutch Canaal Digitaal. I had experienced a *much worse* ability of the more expensive Nexus cards to extract signals that are weak because of the usage of a long cable to the dish. The CAM handling driver for the Nova works quite well. Carlo -- * Se la Strada e la sua Virtu' non fossero state messe da parte, * K * Carlo E.
