Files Yes, it is the convergence firmware which is uploaded to the card each time the kernel driver is loaded.

Windows version is better with CI/CAM, so if you have a paytv abo you might try the windows firmware if you don't get it to work with the convergence firmware (patch at http://www.linuxdvb.tv/). BUT: If you plan to use vdr, there is at least one thing that is missing in the windows firmware (afaik): the On Screen Display... and vdr without on screen display isn't fun ... btw: I'm no expert whatsoever in these things, I'm only watching things and benefiting from the work of others for my own private dvb hobby :) So if anything in my blabbering is inaccurate, please say so ^^ __________________________________________________________________ Gesendet von Yahoo!
