I've also seen deadlocks in 4.16 kernels, not in scrub but in running
rsync to copy data into the fs:

Looking at your stack traces, and the ones I saw via the above case I
always see the wait_woken calls in the traces. However, I've been
running bcc profile to see the stacks when things are running fine and
this wait_woken is quite rare. So I'm guessing there is some internal
locking in btrfs that isn't working properly in this case(calling back
in into btrfs code via wait_woken.) Not being a btrfs dev, I'm not
sure what to do about it at the moment, but it does seem like a real
problem.
