Failed to reproduce it with btrfs-progs v4.13.3.
Kernel is v4.14-rc7.

According to your output, it shows that tree-checker caught the
irregular file extent for free space cache, just as expected.

The strange part is, the file extent for free space cache is created by
kernel, as the ASSERT() is triggering from write time verification.
And kernel strangely put some data into the uninitialized file extent,
trigger the problem.

I'll try to reproduce it with FS_CHECK_INTEGRITY enabled.

Thanks,
Qu
