Primeiro, algumas perguntas: 1) Voc� monta CD's, DVD's que n�o tenham sido gravados por voc� normalmente? (Atrav�s do mesmo comando que voc� tentou montar o DVD rec�m-gravado? "mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom/") 2) /dev/cdrom aponta para onde? 3) Voc� consegue montar a imagem gerada antes de ser gravada no DVD como loop? (mount /home/backup/iso/backup1.iso /mnt/qualquer_coisa -o loop) Dependendo de 1 e 2, voc� pode estar com seu link /dev/cdrom apontado para o lugar errado. Ela grava normal porque ele n�o faz uso do link para gravar no dispositivo. Dependendo de 3, a imagem pode ter sido gerado corrompida. Ainda assim tente montar o DVD (ou a imagem) com o par�metro -t iso9660 e veja o que acontece. Um �ltimo recurso pode ser, ao final da grava��o, ejetar e recarregar o drive, por que alguns deles precisam ser ejetador antes ou depois da grava��o para voltarem ao seu estado normal.
