Caros companheiros, sobre o modem pctel ja peguei todas
as informa��es dos sites, lista e do zago, e tentei todos os drivers e seus
passo a passo, e depois peguei o driver la no site do Jcmp3 CL8MR pois o
mesmo se referia especificamente ao meu caso, tanto a placa sis810 quanto a
distro CL8 chipset SIS730, e me parece que estou bem pr�ximo veja as
informacoes abaixo.
A instala��o foi sem erros e como ver�o os m�dulos est�o carregados
e tudo, mas quando uso pra conectar via ppp aparecem tr�s mensagens na
janela do programa, primeira " Procurando Modem " , em seguida " Modem
Pronto " e em seguida " Desculpe, mas o modem n�o responde " .
Ja conferi os modulos estao no diretorio certo ~/misc
o link do /dev/ttyS15 com o /dev/modem tambem esta feito
o arquivo modules.conf ja ta modificado para carregar os modulos e
codigo do pais
Inclusive at� a famosa incompatibilidade do m�dulo de som com o
m�dulo do modem esta acontecendo, isto � perco o audio do m�dulo trident
quando carregaram os m�dulos do modem. Tamb�m pelos comandos est�o corretas
a IRQ e as I/O detectadas no comando abaixo. Mas como disse ao tentar
conectar no Kppp d�o as mensagens j� citadas acima.
Se alguem puder me dar uma dica sobre o fato desde j� agrade�o....
