Novamente, volto a insistir: procurem no historico...la tem varias mensagens
sobre este assunto, eu mesmo postei varias delas...
Aos moderadores, uma sugestao: que tal um FAQ para os Newbie's?

A. This is usually a permissions thing, make sure that neomail.pl
and neomail-prefs.pl have the proper permissions to read the /var/neomail
directory, and that suidperl is present and functioning properly. This
is often not the case on Slackware Linux. When suidperl issues
arise, most users have reported success after recompiling perl from
scratch, making sure to say "no" when asked if their kernel is suid-script
secure, and "yes" when asked if they want to use suid script emulation
during the
Configure script.
Isto vale para quase todos os linux....traduzindo em miudos:
1)Localize o arquido suidperl
mispo6:/home/vinicius # locate suidperl
/usr/bin/suidperl
mispo6:/home/vinicius # ls -ls /usr/bin/suidperl
784 -rwsr-xr-x 2 root root 800943 Sep 19 2001
/usr/bin/suidperl
mispo6:/home/vinicius #
2) verifique se ele esta com suid setado (-rwsr-xr-x - equivalente a chmod
4755) caso nao esteja (-rwxr-xr-x - equivalente a 755, mude para 4755 e tudo
vai ficar ok...
Mais um detalhe: procure no historico, mensagens deste tipo eu cansei de
postar...aqui vai o link de uma delas com varias dicas de Neomail....isso
deve lhe ajudar bem...
