modo excelente! A� va� as dicas para faz�-lo rodar no seu sistema... �
importante que no momento da instala��o, voc� tenha o zip-drive ligado na
porta USB com um zip dentro: isto vai for�ar o rastreamento dos m�dulos
pelo instalador.

together The modules that must be installed for USB:
usbcore
usb-uhci (if your USB chipset is Intel it would be most likely been this
UHCI module) usb-ohci (if your USB chipset is Non - Intel it would be most
likely been this OHCI module) uhci (some others that are non Intel but use
the UHCI type commands) usb-storage
fat
vfat
To install the these modules using the "insmod" command type:
"insmod usbcore"
"insmod usb-uhci" (for Intel,PIIx4,VIA- USB chipsets)
"insmod usb/uhci" (Alternate driver (JE) support)
"insmod usb-ohci" (for Compaq, IMACS, Opti, SIS, Ali chipsets)
"insmod usb-storage"
"insmod fat"
"insmod vfat"
The fat and vfat modules should be loaded in the newer kernels and not
require being manually loaded. Once theses modules are loaded the drive
will use SCSI emulation. To mount your drive on Linux you will need to
create mount points. These mount points can be almost any thing you would
like. For example: Zip 100 Atapi drive type: "mkdir /mnt/zip100.0", if you
have other Zip 100 drives they could be "/mnt/zip100.1" for the second Zip
100 and /mnt/zip100.2" for the third Zip 100.
Your drives order will be affcted by the order in which you installed the
modules for the drive. Example: if you installed your SCSI drive first it
would be the first drive seen by Linux. Linux will set a device number
according to the order in which it finds your drives. Typical Iomega Drive
device and mount points: Drive Type Device Mount Points
Zip 100 /dev/sda4 /mnt/zip100.0
Zip 250 /dev/sdb4 /mnt/zip250.0
Jaz 1 /dev/sdc4 /mnt/jaz1g.0
Jaz 2 /dev/sdd4 /mnt/jaz2g.0
USB Zip 100 /dev/sde4 /mnt/zip100.0
USB Zip 250 /dev/sdf4 /mnt/zip250.0
Mount the drive in the following manner, type:
mount /dev/sda4 /mnt/zip100.0"

Como fa�o para carregar o m�dulo automagicamente � cada reinicializa��o da
m�quina?
Setup e carregamento no boot:
A explica��o colhida no site da Iomega + aquela que consta do site da
Conectiva, possibilitam a inser��o dos m�dulos necess�rios para a
instala��o e inicializa��o autom�tica no boot do sistema.: Devem ser
acresentadas as seguintes linhas em:/etc/rc.d/rc.local:
modprobe usb-uhci;
Para tornar definitivo o ponto de montagem, acrescente-o atrav�s do
Linuxconf, mapeando para a unidade ZIP correspondente ao seu modelo.
Dicas: Coloque como " n�o montar na inicializa��o: se n�o houver nenhum
zip-disk no driver, isto vai prevenir atrasos in�teis no boot. N�o se
esque�a de desmontar o driver com "umount/mnt/ziptal" para n�o atrasar no
desligamento do sistema.
