In 1978, we built an Acorn house, here in Lincoln. Acorn has now merged with/ Deck and still making prefab homes, although more customized now than in the early days. The process was fantastic-smooth, no surprises and on budget. We broke ground in October.’78 and moved in Jan.’79. We are still in the same house, with additions and a few modifications since then.
