It would probably move faster if the stretch of road between the Pierce Hill rd detour and the school entrance was open from 7:30-8:00. Having the “Road Closed” signs blocking that lane of traffic really slows down the flow significantly, since traffic needs to wait for a gap in the oncoming traffic to go around the signs.
Even the school buses turning right out of Pierce Hill road were having issues making the turn around the detour signs. Also when the road is open- vehicles, and especially motorcycles, need to beware of a massive dip in the road next to the purple house. It’s not marked at all to bring attention to it, and could definitely cause an accident for a motorcycle.
