Hello Jennie-

My family uses
https://www.airbnb.com/ireland/stays

To rent their property on the Aran Islands. We’ve found some great places on
them- the many of them go by week terms, you can find a few that I have three
or four days with them. That way you could stay in a couple of different areas.

I would recommend to stay near the main train lines for easy travel. Dublin has
some well-known sites, Galway has really nice village life and nightlife, the
rose of Trilly may be going on down in Keri, which is just south of Galway in
between Galway and Carrie at this time of year maybe a music festival in
Lisdoon; and Donegal is known for some of the best traditional musicians and
music sessions, as well as some of the best surfing is up in the northwest.

Good luck and have a wonderful trip! And don’t forget the Arun islands for a
fantastic day or two excursion- some of the oldest standing forts known to
humanity are set upon them! And perhaps the best seafood in the country.
