Good afternoon,

I wanted to provide a quick clarification on our Town Moderator's post. The
meeting on Wednesday, June 11th at 6:30pm, is called by the Town Moderator, not
the Town Meeting Study Committee (TMSC). The purpose of the meeting is to
discuss how the process will work for a dissenting view presentation. There
will be no discussion of the actual Nature Link proposal or of any other TMSC
business. Thank you.

Kenny Mitchell
(TMSC Chair)

Subject: Special Town Meeting/Opposing Views - June 11 meeting

Good Morning,

At the June 4th meeting of the Town Meeting Study Committee (TMSC), a motion
was passed, recommending that the Town Moderator allow a single presentation of
dissenting views for the Nature Link project, with slides, at the June 25
Special Town Meeting. I have accepted their recommendation and invite all
interested parties to join me for an explanation of the TMSC Motion and to
answer your questions. After conversations on the TMSC, it became clear that
with regard to dissenting opinions, we need to develop more procedural
guidelines than have been followed in the past. I welcome supporters,
dissenters and the undecided to attend. The hybrid meeting will be held on
Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 6:30 pm, in the Donaldson Room at Town Offices,
and will also be available on-line. The link to the meeting is on the TMSC web
page at linconltown.org<http://linconltown.org/>. Following this meeting I will
ask the dissenters to identify their representative speaker.
