The Cambridge Homes, where I work, is a community partner with First Church in Cambridge and their Friday Cafe - serving people experiencing homelessness or food insecurity. When we began working with them, they had nine tables for guests to sti and share a meal. Within the last few months they have had to increase that number to twelve tables. And things are only going to get more challenging.
This week is particularly challenging. If you can prepare a meal and get it into Cambridge on Friday morning, you would be doing a great service. As I type this, they still need 7 meat main dishes, 6 vegetarian main dishes, 4 vegetable side dishes, 2 salads, and 1 "soup for a crowd". If you sign up to make something, but need help getting it to Cambridge, I can accept items on Thursday evening (after work) - please DM me to make arrangements. Thanks for any support you can give.
