Family has deserted us. We have two extra tickets (Row K 20-21) off center aisle at Symphony Hall for this Friday night. The Boston Philharmonic is performing Mahler's immense Second Symphony with the Pro Musica Chorus and Dame Sarah Connolly as mezzo soprano at 8 p.m. It will be a great evening. We can still get to the 250th festivities in the morning.
