Here is a summary of the responses I received (again, thank you!):

Also the subcommittee of the Lincoln Green Commission, CFREE, is knowledgeable about this and helped me. The CFREE woman who specializes in the shade issue is Nancy Selvage, lincolngreenco...@gmail.com.

We have used Bright Window Coverings extensively for all kinds of shades, including motorized, and other window coverings. They do an excellent job and are reasonably priced (but not inexpensive). If we needed anything in this line, we would call them first.

There are quite a few window companies who have been recommended by LincolnTalk listserv members. Click the blue "LincolnTalk recommendations” link at the top right of the Lincoln Squirrel home page at www.lincolnsquirrel.com. You don't need a subscription to access that page, but I invite you to subscribe by clicking “Subscriptions” in the top navigation bar to keep your finger on the pulse of Lincoln :-)

I used three day blinds.  There is usually a coupon in that envelope (i think it is called value pack).
They have a team of designers come out with samples and they suggest or help u.

It is a woman owned company out of conn.   We have been very very happy with them.  I have a combination of Roman shades and honey comb room darking.
