Children in grades 4-6 are invited to join us for two upcoming workshops at
the Lincoln Public Library. Thanks to the Friends of the Lincoln Library

*Lincoln250 Revolutionary War Writing: Cursive Workshop for Kids*

*Thursdays, March 6, 13, 20 from 4-5pm*

Write like it’s 1775! Have you ever wanted to write and read cursive? In
this three week workshop, children in grades 4-6 will learn the different
formations for lower- and uppercase letters, practice writing a variety of
words (including their names!), and look at historical documents from the
Revolutionary War era.  Registration required.

*Young Writers Workshop Mondays March 10, 17, 24, 31 and April 4 from
4-5:30pm*This five-week program (Mondays from 3/10 - 4/7)  for young
authors will dive into the creative process and help your child find their
own unique voice. Through journaling, writing prompts, mindfulness,
movement, and visual art - children will explore their own natural
creativity and use it to write an original story. Intended for children in
grades 4-6. Participants are encouraged to register for all 5 workshop
sessions. Registration required.
