Help Lincoln 8th Graders Go to Washington, D.C.
For the first time since the pandemic, Lincoln School’s graduating 8th graders
will be taking a class trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the U.S. Capitol,
museums and monuments. They’ll also make a side trip to Gettysburg to see the
battlefield.
To get them there, we need your assistance raising $10,000 to make the trip
affordable for all who would like to go.
Please consider helping them get to Washington by donating an item for our
upcoming online community auction.
Here are a few ideas of what you might give for others to bid on. No item is is
too big or too small:
1) Gift cards to a favorite local restaurant or store.
2) Themed gift baskets.
3) A stay at a vacation condo or rental property.
4) Gift cards for services such as yoga classes, car-detailing or massage.
5) New or lightly-used goods, such as skis, jewelry, power equipment etc.
6) Red Sox tickets, Museum passes, Aquarium/iMax tickets
If you’d like to donate, please contact any member of the Lincoln School 8th
Grade Fundraising Committee by March 12. The auction is scheduled to open March
16.
