Barring my misinterpretation of the original post, what was suggested is an additional day in years where Christmas/New Years holidays occur on either Wednesdays or Saturdays. This year, a Lincolnite who can only attend to TS duty on Wednesdays, last visited the TS on 12/18 couldn’t visit again until next Wednesday, 1/8. It won’t happen again until roughly three years from now (in 2027), and then again three years after that in 2030. If this calendaring fluke only occurs every three years or so, it may be an idea a town as well-run as Lincoln would want to consider.
