Last week, the Lincoln Girl Scouts continued its longstanding tradition of making crafts for the Council on Aging winter gift baskets. The Girl Scouts met in the Dining Commons and (making quite the mess) made peanut butter pinecone bird feeders and hand wrote greeting cards (we thought the poem included below was quite the masterpiece).
This year, the COA is looking for $10 gift cards to local stores - CVS, Market Basket, etc. Many of the Scouts' parents have already personally donated, but not many have been dropped off at Bemis. If you feel so moved, now is your last chance to donate. Please drop off gift cards to Bemis early this week. If you don't have time, and are comfortable with it, please reach out to one of the leaders below and we can purchase for you if you Venmo us.
