My mother left her phone in a Lyft, and the phone did not require a password for access since that was challenging to her (89 years old). For many of us, access to our phones opens up access to EVERYTHING - our bank accounts, email..... A bad actor can get password resets for our accounts and two factor authentication via the phone.
The solution to both problems (easy access PLUS security) is a smartphone which uses fingerprint recognition for access. Steve Kropper
