As we are told by Eversource that this outage will be a multi- day event, we might note that Concord, Belmont and towns with town muni- electrics have no outages. Why? They make investments in infrastructure and resilience and not shareholders. Customers are the shareholders. Perhaps we should return to discussing the idea of becoming a muni- electric town. Let’s make this kind of an investment in infrastructure that will be a truly worthwhile gift to generations to come.
