First, thank you to the Housing choice committee and all of those who have spent so much time and thought on this issue. As a Lincoln resident who has been reading the threads and attending the State of the Town presentation, but not much more than that, I realize I may be late and relatively uninformed. However, I would like to propose another option. I am going to reference this document<https://www.lincolntown.org/DocumentCenter/View/85116/2023-SOTT-HCA-Slide-Deck-wtih-Notes?bidId=> (https://www.lincolntown.org/DocumentCenter/View/85116/2023-SOTT-HCA-Slide-Deck-wtih-Notes?bidId=) in my labeling.
I am wondering if we could not have an option D which includes both North Lincoln and Battle Farm road, allows for the rezoning the Rural Land Foundation needs at the mall, and shrinks the size of the orange and green parcels in in Lincoln center. My goal with this is four fold: protect the commercial businesses in the mall, keep the traffic in along Lincoln road and 117 down and keep in the "spirit" of the town both as much as possible, while still complying with the new regulations. Thanks for reading. -Lisa Freedman
