I love the idea of more mutual support and collaboration between creative women, and possibly to organize more happenings on the local level. What do you have in mind? Though not for women only, having a forum where arts, crafts, and farming folks can show & sell their wares and support each other is the intention of the Lincoln Arts and Farmers Market (LAFM) that gathers weekly in the summer. Also, are you aware of the Lincoln Art Show coming up in November on the weekend of the 17th through the 19th? It is run by the Lincoln Parks And Recreation. There is also LOMA, the monthly open mic on the 2nd Tuesday at the library.
