Dear Climate Supporters, Public opposition to the expansion of private jet facilities at Hanscom has been growing steadily, and our elected officials are paying attention.
Our Coalition opposing the project, Stop Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom or Anywhere, now includes more than 40 organizations including Mothers Out Front Lincoln, St. Anne's Lincoln Climate Justice Ministry, and the Lincoln Democratic Town Committee. More than 10,000 residents of Massachusetts have signed the petition to the Governor asking her to use her influence with Massport to cancel the project. On *Monday, October 2, at 11:00 a.m.,* we will rally in front of the State House to urge Governor Healey to keep her campaign promise to exercise *bold climate leadership*.
