Hi John,
Thanks for the Wet-and-Forget suggestion.  I had never heard of this product.
It sounds as though it would do the job for us.
We have a lot of mold on one part of the roof as well as some on one side of
the house. Do you think it could tackle a fairly large
area?
One concern I have is that we have flowers and plants near the house.  Did you
take any precautions to protect plants?
Also, a dog?
Thanks for your input!

Power washing can be great (and really satisfying) on non-painted surfaces. One
low-cost alternative is Wet-and-Forget:
https://www.wetandforget.com/wet-and-forget-hose-end.html. It comes as a hose
attachment that increases pressure so it’ll reach the top of your roof or
wherever you need. You just spray the affected area, and after a few days, the
mold (or any moss or lichen on your roof) will just disappear. It did a great
job on my place!

I suspect it needs to be power washed.
Any suggestions?
